So I know this is an odd question... But If my boyfriend ejaculated on his hands, washed his hands with cold water and soap for around 15-20seconds then fingered me about a minute or two later, is there any chance that I could get pregnant? ( I know this is an odd question but I'm just want to know).

Not an odd question at all. No, you could not become pregnant after he had washed his hands and a couple of minutes passed.

I'm not sure if he thoroughly washed his hands or if he dried them off... Does that a matter?

That's assuming he actually washes his hands like an adult should... and not how a small kid might.

Odd speaking as a guy why he would do that however.

The odds would be extremely low if he washed them off quickly and didn't dry them. Conditions would have to be so precise, and you would actually have to be close to ovulation as well.

Should I worry about buying any sort of emergency contraceptive like plan b?

If you are going to be playing these games... you need to be considering actual forms of birth control first. And understand none of them are 100% effective.

If he washed his hands with soap and water... I wouldn't be worried. However, if it would ease your mind, use plan b. The sooner you use it, the more effective it would be, and it is recommended to use it within 72 hours.

Then, as smoothy suggested, discuss which regular form of birth control you will use from now on, or better yet... hold off on the intimacy until you are more comfortable and in a position to deal with the potential of an unwanted pregnancy, should it occur.
