    Chart of accounts
    We hired a company ABC Doors to perform labor services during an installation of a piece of machinery. What do I call this in the Chart of Accounts? Contract labor? Outside Labor?

    I would call it contract labor.

    I would capitalize it under Machinery, especially if amount of installation is material.
