    What is this symbol  
    I am formatting a document for Amazon ebooks, and I keep getting this symbol in the finished copy, I don't know where it's coming from.

    Hi,
    I think it has to do with the program that you use to write this with. Microsoft is by far the most serious offender, though not the only one by far. See it all the time in what are to be HTML emails.
