95 chevy blazer 4 door stalling on hard break at 1/4 tank
I have a 95 chevy blazer 4 door. A new gas tank, pump, and sending unit was installed not oem and it stalls when breaking hard at 1/4 tank of gas. If higher it doesn't stall. Replaced pump and sending unit again no change.

1/4 tank... the fuel is sloshing forward and its sucking air. That's why its shutting down. In-tank fuel pumps are cooled by the fuel they sit in so running that low overheats them, allows condensation to form... and its far more likely to clog in inlet screen with crud.

OEM fuel tanks have dividers in them to keep the fuel from flinging all around on turns and stops. Perhaps this tank you put in does not have these built in and the fuel moves forward and uncovers the pump, thereby sucking air quick enough to lose pressure and fuel and stall the engine.

I think the question needs to be asked as to why the fuel tank, pump, and sending unit were replaced to begin with. It may be something totally different that is wrong; e.g., a clogged fuel filter, failing Idle Air Control Valve (IACV) or bad Ignition Control Module (ICM).

That's a good point. I assumed, perhaps incorrectly, that these items were replaced and then the problem started. It could very well be that this problem has been going on and that's why parts were replaced.
