    1970' s horse movie?
    I am looking for the name to an old horse movie - possibly from the '70's
    A young native boy and cowboy are trying to track down a wild horse named Shoshone
    There is a scene where the cowboys mare gets stuck in quicksand and shoshone allows them to use him to pull the mare out.
    Another scene they are tracking the stallion in a box canyon but the stalliion used his own hoof prints to back out of the canyon.
    I was very young when I watched this movie endlessly on CBC television. So my memory is poor but those 2 scenes I believe are correct.
    Please help, I want to watch this movie again!
