How to snake past tub drain P-trap?
Using a hand cranked 1/4" auger, can not get more that 24 in. down tub overflow outlet. Have been turning and pushing, to no avail. Ideas?

Keep trying. You're hung up in the bend of the trap. If the 24" snake doubles back try a 3/8" snake. Good luck, Tom
