    Low hot water pressure
I have low hot water pressure in my kitchen. The cold water is great and the bathroom cold and hot are good in both the tub and sink. Where do I start?

I would close angle stop ( valve under the sink that supplies hot water to faucet ), removed flexible water supply connector ( connects angle stop and faucet ) and tried to run hot water to a bucket through this connector supply pipe. You you will see right away whether you have enough pressure by by-passing faucet or not.

If you have lots of pressure, than you most likely have debris in faucet cartridge. Here, you will have to remove cartridge and clean it under running water.

If you don't have enough pressure through water connector, than you may have debris inside angle stop or corroded nipple right behind angle stop. Here you would have to close water to the whole house, remove angle stop and inspect it. If you see corrosion build up inside nipple, replace it with new one ( don't try to poke it through with screwdriver ). If debris inside angle stop, replace it too.

Let me know how it went...

    Back to you. Milo

Thanks Milo. I was thinking that's where I should probably start. I'll work on it this weekend and let you know how it goes.
