I am about 22 weeks pregnant. I am having long periods of sharp upper abdominal pain under my breasts. And also sharp pain in my lower back. Is this serious or premature labor? What should I do? Emergency room visit possibly?

I don't think it is ER worthy, but I would definitely get an appointment with your doctor/OB ASAP.

The ER won't see you, they are afraid of pregnant women. However, you could visit the labor and delivery department where you are supposed to deliver to rule out labor.
