What does your doctor say about this? There are no doctors on this site, and even if there were, they don't know your medical history. Asking about your health online, is foolish, you're leaving your life to a bunch of strangers, most of which have no medical training at all. No doctor would risk their license and offer medical treatment online.

This is a concern, and it's one that you should discuss with your doctor. Not online.

    Good luck.

What type of "kidney" patient, what type of "treatment"

You report it to your doctor, there are many things with the kidneys that can cause blood in the urine, all need to be discussed with your doctor.

There is always blood in our urine in minuscule amounts, that is normal, but when you can actually see the coloration, that is serious. See your doctor immediately.

OK , I work in dialysis, so I am assuming your getting worked up to be first time dialyzed, maybe a catheter placement? Acute renal failure?
YOU NEED TO DEMAND that your Dr. spend enough time with you to explain what is happening. No it is not normal to have ANY blood in your urine, its supposed to be sterile. But the fact your urinating still is a good sign. Therefore talk to your nephrologist ASAP and make sure you don't have a UTI which is treatable, or worse. Its sad to see that if you had a chance for your kidneys to recover, you are risking this over a discussion site, where even if a Specialist was online and read your post, they could not tell you anything without exam and LAB workups. Good luck
