    Court records say sealed violation of probation
    A friend is in jail for vop. He is waiting for sentencing. The court records say ****sealed**** violation of probation. What does tis mean?

    The court record (orders, etc) was sealed by the judge, meaning it is not available for public viewing. Sealing records is standard for juveniles and done in some other circumstances as well.
