Duerr log splitter won't split
My splitter's ram gets to the log, and the engine rev's a little but won't split the log.
I topped off the reservoir with heavy duty hydraulic oil. I should have put in10 W or Dextron II. Could the thicker heavy duty oil and the cold weather be the problem? |

Hi... I just purchased a used 24 ton Super High Output Commercial Duerr log splitter... serial #99-300-2785... I can not find a model # on the splitter anywhere... Peadybob: I need a hydraulic oil filter for my Duerr log splitter. What is the brand & number of yours? I've tried a NAPA #1259 and it mushrooms when the splitter is started.Thanks. elandem
