    Trying to get Pregnant
I have been trying to get pregnant for about a year and a half no but don't seem to be getting any luck.

My mother passed away when I was young and there was nobody I could really talk to about female stuff, and was a little scared to ask somebody. I usually get my monthly sometimes early and sometimes late and stays for exactly 7 days. How do I know when I am fertile? I just don't understand.

What I did to figure out my cycle and how long it is and how many days are in it, is through ovulation predictor kits. You can by them at walmart or other pharmacys. You can find out when you do ovulate. Also you may think your period comes early or late, I used to think that, then I finally figured out it was 33 days so its normal. What your going to want to do is get a calender, mark the day you start, that is day one of your cycle. Then mark the day your period ends, then start taking your ovulation predictor kits and mark on your calender when it comes out positive. Then when your next period starts then that is the start of day one again. So count from the first day of your last period to the day before your next period started and that's how many cycle days you have. People and websites are going to say you are SUPPOSED to ovulate on day 14, but that is untrue. That is based on AVERAGE. I don't ovulate very cycle day 14, mine is day 21. Some women ovulate during their periods, right before right after. So just keep that calender and keep track of your cycle. Also since you have been trying for so long, you may want to go to a fertility doctor to make sure everything is okay. Have your spouse get a sperm count. If there is a problem then the doctor will be able to help you get pregnant. Also try having sex every other day. A lot of people say that worked for them. Goodluck
