I have been having continuous problems with social services regarding a disclosure that they claim was on a crb check that they had done on myself after they had received a annoinous report that I was a rapist . Social services used this to split up myself and my then girlfriend claiming that even though it was only an arrest that showed up on my crb check that to them its was classed as a conviction and that under no circumstance was I to be allowed around or near herself or her children I have since then produced letters from the criminal law solicitor that dealt with the problem at the time clearly stating that I was not convicted of any offence relating to rape of any kind. Yet socail services are still stating that as long as it shows on my crb that they will constantly raise it where ever children are concerned and if I also try moving into any future relationship they have also indicated that they may prevent myself from being able to have my eldest daughter living at home with myself should I try through court to have her returned to my care.. I do not know how to go about having my crb cleared or changed to show that my name is clear of being a rapist I have been told that it is possible to have my crb wiped clear but not how to go about getting that sorted

I'd start by hiring a lawyer. They know the system... what to do and how to do it. There are an emense ammount of details that can trip you up every step of the way.

Why are social services involved in this anyway, who is causing the issue, why did your girlfriend not help fight the issue. But yes, an attorney is all you can do at this point.

Because socail services were once involved with my then girlfriend and it mostly her ex and friends of her ex that didn't like seeing us building a strong relationship she did try to fight and defend me but she wasn't given much choice in the matter by socail services at all
