    Trane TWX036C100A.
    The heat pump sound like working, fan turns but the AUX heat is ON all time. Earlier the outside unit had ice build on but not really thick and it seems the defrost controller was not working (test by HVAC Tech showed no V on the test terminal RED WIRE). Set to cool and melted ice but still the pump will not turn ON and the AUX heat will kick in immediately.
    Bought a defrost controller CNT 04368 part no. 21C140501G36 that I was told is replacement for 21C140501G11 and installed last week, installed and try it but no effect. The AUX heat still kicks in and the AC not.
    The L38-618 relay makes high pitch noise and I ordered a new one (replacement SUPCO DP40242 2P for 45GG20AJ) plus a sensor SEN347.
    Any advice.
