My subpump does not shut off we have a slow draining issue with flooding in the garag
We are having flooding issues with the melting snow. We have a slooped driveway and the drain at the bottom of the driveway keep backing up was told because the water in there us froozen, but one how is water getting through to backup? And it freezes at night I don't think there's that much melting snow. So could there be a broken pipe? And last question would it hurt the subpump if it ran constantly? Water flows in and it drains but not at a fast pace. The pump will fill in 8 minutes if you turn it off and garage will start flooding if you don't keep it running. Sorry please help. With all the foods going on we can't get anyone to come out.

Cut the discharge pipe and install temporary piping some other drainage point.
