Hi everyone! My name is kiara. I just experience a terrible loss. Last Sunday my boyfriend was shot multiple times seconds after I have walked into his house to use the bathroom. I locked myself in his moms bathroom and had to wait hours to go home I was questioned by the police and the detectives numerous of times but I do not know who shot the love of my life I feel so broken down I do not know what to do I cannot erase this image that I have endured. I am only 19 and I feel depressed and broken plese help I do not know what to do

You could look for grief councelors in your area... they could help you a lot to get through this.

I agree with smoothy. Look for a grief counselor and a grief support group in your area. If you can't find something on your own, call the reference desk at the public library (they have a list) or call a social agency such as Catholic Charities or Lutheran Social Services or even your county human resources office. Please post again to let us know how this is working for you. You do need to talk this out with a professional and with people who have experienced the sudden death of loved ones.

This is all very new and will take time to heal. Don't put pressure on yourself to heal faster than you are. Be understanding with yourself.

You do need to talk to someone. Your local health department or police department may be able to give you people to contact. Many find comfort in talking with a religious leader.

Friends and family can give you support and may be able to guide you to resources in your area.
