    Possible Pregnancy/miscarriage question
I don't have a regular gyno, so I need some help with a question that I have. I had a menstrual cycle during the first full week of January (6th-12th), then had sex on January 25th. On January 31st I started having (what I thought to be) another menstrual cycle, however it wasn't nearly as heavy or long as my periods usually are. I finished that one around February 4th or 5th and thought that was it. But, after that happened my breasts got really tender and I recently started bleeding again yesterday (Feb. 10th) and last night I had cramps and lower back pain so bad I was considering going to the ER. My question is, is there a possibility I could (or could have been) pregnant and possibly had a miscarriage or something? I hate thinking like a hypochondriac, but I would rather be safe than sorry. I also travel a lot with my job, so getting into a doctor might be difficult, which is why I am looking for some guidance to see if that would really be worth my time and I not just overreacting. Any help you can give me would be appreciated! Thank you.

What has your stress level been like? Are you actively trying to get pregnant or just letting the dice land where they may?

You could have conceived but the implantation never took, or it did but the embryo is taking. There could be other factors, including stress and illness, that could have caused things to go wonky. If you think about it, if you have a regular cycle and your lining buids up during the month and if you have an early period than you're going to have less lining to slough and it could be shorter and lighter.

You had a period so I don't think you're pregnant. You're probably going to need to wiat until the end of the month or beginning of March to test if you think you are. The general rule is to test two weeks after the start of a missed period.

    Good luck.

Could it have been ? Yes, could it be 100 other things, yes it could be.

I agree, you had a period, so it is doubtful you are now pregnant, My suggestion, wait till next month and see if it comes correctly. If not, see your doctor
