The first day of my last period was the 21st jan. I am normally on the microgynon pill but I missed a couple of days at the start of my pack. On the 24th of jan I had unprotected sex whilst I was on my period then I noticed that the next day it had stopped. I then had unprotected sex on the 2nd feb (most fertile date) but realised that I had missed the first couple of days of the pack. I took my pill straight away and have been taking it since. I have noticed some spotting the past couple of days. Could this be because I missed a couple of days of my pill or could I possibly be pregnant?

The pill is not 100 percent effective. So even if you take each pill exact you can become pregnant. Each pill you miss makes it easier to become pregnant,

So of course you could be. But can not tell at this point

When would I be able to tell? I'm due a period on the 25th, I don't understand why I'm spotting blood, it's there sometimes when I wipe and then sometimes it's in my knickers, it's been happening on and off for about 3 days. It's never happened to me before & I have slight stomach cramps as well! Could it just be break through bleeding?

You can test two weeks after a missed period. If your period is due on February 25, and it does not come as expected, you have to wait another 14 days to test using first morning urine. While there are some tests that detect pregnancy earlier than this they have a higher rate of false negatives.
