    Replacing thermostat
I was careless when removing old thermostat (totaline) and didn't note which terminals wires were connected. Now I have a Honeywell RTH2300B1038 that I want to install. The manual for the Honeywell doesn't have the same wire colors that I have in wall. I have a red, green, blue, white, yellow and orange/brown wires. I believe green is not needed and I believe I know where the others go except for that orangish/brownish wire. Can you help?

What type of heating system do you have? (gas, oil, heat pump, warm air, hot water) Do you have A/C?
