Can H4 have an IRA account?
    Hi all,

I am on a H4 visa, I would like to know if I am eligible for opening an IRA account for the purpose of tax deduction for 2006.

If your spouse has earned income, you MAY open an IRA account for up to $4,000 if he made at least $4,000 in 2006.
