    Can water line and sewer pipe be placed parallel in the same trench
    We are looking at bringing water & sewer to a new project, can the water line and sewer pipe be placed in the same trench

    You need to find what code is used in your area. Some jurisdictions say no, others allow benching if the water is 12 "away and 12" above the sewer line. Check with your local permitting dept.
