    Older honeywell 2 wire thermostat
I have 2 wires on my old honeywell thermostat. They accidentally came off. One is black and the other is beige. It is for gas heat only. Where do the wires get connected?

Since you only have heat, it won't matter. There should be 2 screws on the thermostat--one labeled R and one labeled W--put a wire on each.

If there is a third screw labeled Rh, you would hook a short wire between R and Rh in addition to what I said above. I doubt you have this.

    Hope this helps,
