Right or wrong spindles?
Recently changed the hot and cold spindles in my shower and now it is impossible to keep the water adjusted at a consistent temperature. The water goes hot and cold all the time. This only happened after I changed the spindles.

Hi Gazwah
Tell us the name brand and/or post a picture of the setup with "KNOBS" on and off the shower valve....see what we can determine.

Looks like your post got "corrected" and then uncorrected, Gazwah...something some people on the site work on, but not of concern at this time.
In terms of your original issue, it sounds like you have a two handle shower valve, correct? If this is so, then those valves are always a problem in terms of balancing hot/cold/warm water temperatures. If you didn't have the issue before, I am not sure how to advise as the single spindles do NOT have a balancing mechanism that can fail, so maybe you do have the wrong spindles...??

I saw your post regarding this question, Gazwah, but it got deleted as a duplicate post as you already have this thread going.
We answered your question yesterday...just bumped your thread to the top so hopefully, you'll see it this time!

Still waiting for the name of the fixtures to determine if you have an adjustable mixer valve and if so where it can be accessed from, and if not if its air bound or even if this is spindle related. Turning the water on and off may have created many problems. Its kind of hard when you can't put your hands on it. I can see generic knob spindles not being properly seated, even new ones changing the way a valve opens and closes.
I think I start with examining the seats. You may be turning the knobs but not opening the water valve on one or another far enough. Help with some info on your set up, so we know what kind of guts to examine.

This statement, "it is impossible to keep the water adjusted at a consistent temperature" tells us that the issue is probably NOT with the seats, Talaniman. Although a name brand may be helpful, I'm pretty sure it will not be helpful to me as I believe Gazwah is not from USA (never heard of bunnings), so I won't know the brand anyway!
I asked some questions and if Gazwah comes back and answers them then maybe we can help more...;)
