    Peel Stick Vinyl Tile
I have peel stick tile on my basement floor that was put in 20 years ago. I have left over and need to use them now because a small area of the basement was treated for leaking floor tiles from outside.
Now how to put the left over tiles down becomes the issue. The person that is doing this for me thinks the peel and stick tiles will not have adequate adhesive after all of these years plus some of the removed tiles not are good need to also be used and of course no longer have adhesive on them. Therefor I need the name of a proper adhesive that could be used to accomplish this above described task! The person helping me with this project said he checked with stores and was told that there is no adhesive that works with paper back tiles. I am thinking that when the tiles were applied that the tiles were applied with extra adhesive. I can not check with that tile store because they are out of business. Thank you ahead. Katie

Several brands make an adhesive for paper backed sheet vinyl and that should work in your case. Your installer is likely correct about the old sheets. Self adhesive sheets raely stick well to concrete even when new. http://www.armstrong.com/commflooringna/adhesives.html
