    Damaged van
    My van was damaged (€295 to fix) the police caught the guy and gave him a police caution, how do I go about claiming the money to repair my van, thanks

    You sue the person. Or, if you know the identify of his insurance carrier, you file a claim with it.

    He damaged it on purpose by snapping off the window wipers and smashing a wing mirror, how do I sue him? Get a solicitr you mean?

    England does have small claims courts so I would look for that in your area.

    Ah. Since you now have indicated that he was on foot, forget what I said before about insurance.
