    Why am I so sick during menstruation?
    I am 48 years old and haven't had any menstrual problems untilnow. This month, as we speak, I am very ill. I am severely nauseous, my heart is racing, I am dizzy and have no energy. I have been in bed for two days and a little worried. Can anybody help?

    Have you considered that it has nothing to do with period, just happened at the same time, and you are just "sick"

    Also getting near that time when some women start having a "change" and those changes can effect your body

    I agree with the above. If this has happened more than just this month, it could be the hormone changes of menopause. There are hormone replacements available, but they have possible risks. That's why you need to see a GYN.
