Yes, I recall one person who complained about being considered slutty, but the screen name she chose was rather provocative. Often a screen name says something about you as a person.

Hmmm. In business I have been called a pitbull before. I forgot about that when I created the name. Guess my subconscious was working overtime.

But, getting back to your original post and question: Yes, I do believe these people will create a different account if they choose to come back here and post again. What I have noticed is the majority of those particular people are just looking for an answer to a question. They have no interest in hanging around. If they are happy enough with the answer they received, depending upon the passage of time since their last question, they will be back with a new question and most will have forgotten their user name and password. Therefore, they will choose new ones. The ones that are not happy with the answer(s) they have received, will not come back to this site.

I just did a quick check and only 4998 of the 57220 people listed as members have more than 5 posts.

I almost chose the name," Hemoroidal_Swelling_Bleeding when I first found this site. Since the swelling problem has long subsided, I'm glad I didn't now.

Too bad you didn't stick with HSB, I think people would be a bit more understanding as to why you seem so irritable and irrational in your posts at times. Come to think of it, analprobed or ShortBusRider might have been a more appropriate name for you in the long run. Sorry mag, I don't mean to be rude. Darn, it must be that pitbull part of my personality coming out again.

No, not at all did I consider you rude. I can handle being analprobed. Remember, I worked for the Federal Government for many years and that was just a daily occurrence. No, I don't care what you say, but, just don't talk about my Mama!

I noticed in some cases, a newbie with a problem will ask a question, stick around for a bit and leave, never coming back. They probably think an answer is instantaneous.

And then there is 'shoot- them -down- and- leave- em- to- die- tickle' jumping the gun and feeling bad after, as in my response to steve22 and his gun relgulation question.

Yes the Me generation is used to IMs and instant gratificiation. They don't understand the differences between real time and BBSing. But that's because they don't read the instructions when they sign up and create an e-mail notification.
