When I flush the toilet(s) they back up into the shower. One more shower than the other. Money is scares; any suggestions. I have already cleared the toilets.

Hi, I am running new 3" pvc toilet drain 4' between joist, then have an elbow, then have to cut 4' hole through 3 joist, to drain to 1st floor . Will I have a problem with the toilet draing. Also, will 1' 1/2" vent be enogh for toilet?
