    1950's movie a guy on a boat gets his leg bite off by a shark
    What was the name of movie in the 40's or probably 50's I think with john wayn or stewart geranger or some other famous star where they were on a little perhapshs steam boat in a bay a shark bite off a crew memeber's leg and he ended his life by shooting himself as I recall.

    I think the movie is called "Life Boat". It's a Hitchcock Movie. The actor is William Bendix
