    What are the main safety features available with self storage units while we plan to store our valuable belongings in self storage facilities?

    That is a question for each facility you visit.

    Some have fence, 24 hour security, security cameras, limited access, fire walls between each unit, smoke and fire detection. Climate control and more.

    Others have a fence with code pad, poor lighting and that is it.
