On November 1 2013 Was the last day of my period. I has sex on November 16, The last day of ovulation. It was also unprotected. My next period came November 30 and lasted 5 days. It was a normal period. My next period was meant to start December 28th 2013 but it never came. I took a at home pregnancy test on the 21st and it came out negative. I am now 17 days late on my period. On my calendar it says that I should start another period on the 25th... Did I maybe take the test to early? And should I wait to take another one till after my next period to see if it come or should I take another one now? Please help me out. I'm clueless on what to do.

Some women will have false negative tests even until 2nd or 3rd month.

You can start doing HPT after you are 14 days late, Always use the first urine of the day, as soon as you wake up.

Also, as a note, while most women ovulate according to online charts, many, (many) women do not. So unless you are actually testing for ovulation, you have no idea at all when you ovulate.

I would start testing now, with first urine of morning and do a test every week, if you miss the next period also, check in with your doctor
