I know a lot of people say this after a break up but I'm still in love with my ex-boyfriend. Its been almost a year since the break up now and he dumped me to get this clear. Some people may say I'm sad and that I need to move on but I've already had all that said to me and it doesn't help. 3 or 4 months after the break up we went out again but it didn't have the electricity in the relationship anymore so we broke up again and no matter how long we've been apart or how much I try to convince myself that I don't need him anymore the truth is I do. Everyone is going to say this is sad but I still cry myself to sleep every night because I miss him and everything we had so, so much. Does anyone have any advise at all that can help me to either move on or get everything back that we had?

I know it hurt and sorry to be blunt but you tried twice and failed and haven't had the time to heal but you will and need a lot more time. Trust me you will get tired of crying and being sad and will pick yourself up and build a life that makes you happy with friends, family and activities you enjoy.

How long where you together and why did you break up the first time?

The first time we went out it was for 10 months and he dumped me but he wouldn't tell me the reason why.

Still send him messages, emails
Look at his photo ?

If yes, stop.

But if after a year, you should get professional help, if you are still crying asleep every night, after a year.

What you should do is keep your mind busy with maybe hanging out with friends, cleaning, or any school activities. The busier your mind is you won't even have time to think about him. Just keep busy and go out and have fun! Maybe try something new with someone else! Best of luck!
