I was 8 weeks pregnant with twins and went through a spell of depression, I decided to have a surgical abortion 5 a half weeks ago. I took a pregnancy test last week which came up positive. I then got a blood test on Friday the 3rd (HCG levels were 36), and another on Monday the 6th (HCG levels were 26), so they were dropping.

That Monday I had what looked to me like implantation bleeding, it was about a teaspoon full amount of brown discharge, definitely not a period (still haven't had my first one since abortion). I'm still getting a positive reading on my home pregnant test's every day, but not a very very dark line, but still visible. I'm also getting the same mild cramps I had when I was first pregnant. Do you think I could be pregnant again?

You have not had sex since the abortion have you ? That would be too soon?

My guess, just showing from past pregnancy. What has your doctor doing the blood test say ? He would be the one to know for sure.
