Period for four days then stops?
    Hi
I usually have my period for about six or seven days with one or two days in the middle of it that my period just stops and starts up again.
So this month I was on my period for four days then it just stopped for four days and now I just have a little spotting vwith cramps. I have been super tried and feeling yucky so I don't know if its because I'm sick or if I should be concerned? My husband had a vasectomy five months ago so we haven't used anything.

Even regular periods aren't that regular. Every now and again you will get odd periods that don't follow your known pattern. Cause for that could be illness, stress, medical issues, improper diet, or even just no reason what so ever.

Since you posted here you're concerned about this. If you're still not sure, please contact your doctor. That is the best way to get a good answer that is relevant to you and your situation.

As you probably know, a vasectomy involves cutting or sealing the vas deferens - which prevents the sperm from traveling from the testicle through a long passage and eventually out the urethra. So, it's important to note that some sperm may be in the post-vas-deferens passage, sometimes even several months after the vasectomy is complete. [The body eventually reabsorbs the rest (or it is ejaculated).] Your husband can take a sperm count test if you want to be certain that he's clear.
However, your menstrual change can be due to other causes. The hormonal system is highly sensitive (as CravenMorhead noted). Have you started a new diet or exercise regimen in the new year? This could affect your cycle. (Many healthy athletes have highly irregular periods.) Post-husband's-vasectomy, you may be affected hormonally (subconsciously). So it may be that your body is simply responding to this.
No definitive answer to give you. The human body is so confounding/miraculous.
