Mbath major remod - my last drain question?
Once again thanks for all of the time you have spent helping me. I thought I would be OK (based on how a pro that estimated the job said he would do this) with this drain set up.
But, being an amateur and wanting to make sure I do this correctly I ask your help once again. Thanks in advance especially MassPlumber

    Is this correct??

    Hi Mlbdiy

    1) Use 1.5" pipe to vanity.

    2) 40" will be fine.

Use a long sweep 90 to turn the corner going to the sink, and a regular 90 can be used to turn the drain from the wall into the vanity...otherwise, all set on sink.

In terms of the drain for the old shower, yeah, cut and lower the pipe and then cap it as you stated, but then fill the hole with dirt to about 3" from the finish floor and then add concrete to finish level.

    Lookin' good!
