There really is none... anything you would put in a drain would be flushed away by the water that would normally pass through it.
Most oils with the exception of coconut oils are liguid at room temperature. I always let things cool to room temperature before pouring any cooking liquids down the drain when meat was involved to allow the fat (grease) to congeal so it can be skimmed and put in the trash separately. I'm willing to bet that's the source of most of your drain clog issues. Never had a sink drain get clogged after taking those measures (which I taught my wife do do as well)... which I have been doing, many, many years... (I'm 52). |

Even the way you phrased the question sounds like you were going to advertise. Not allowed here, and a poor choice for attempting anyway.
PS: Take the apostrophe out of the word fat's on your website. Send out glossy postcards to industrial suppliers of chemicals in the UK. I'm sure they are looking for green products. |

What you would be doing is removing buildup that's already occurred in the pipes... thats not the same as preventing it which you asked. There are multiple products on the market that will do that... but none will prevent it from occurring in the first place. The only way to actually prevent it is not putting them in the drain in the first place. Because anything you pour into a drain that doesn't firmly attach itself (like grease will) is going to be flushed away by what passed through the drain.
As far as specific brand name products... few if any are sold internationally under the same brand name. Meaning they may be sold in one or more countries but I doubt you would find them in every or even most under the same name. Baserd on my travels through Europe and the USA. |
