Me and my boy friend have been trying for a baby for about 4 months now after I had the implanon/implant removed the doctor who removed the implant said I could get pregnant straight away but also said it can take a while for the hormones to come out of your system so basically I need advice if any of you lady's have experienced the same symptoms and are pregnant please give me advice because if I'm pregnant this is my first child thanks x

    Hi Teisha,

Have you missed a period yet? Were they regular when you had the implanon removed?
What you are feeling could be due to pregnancy, but might also be due to a period due for example.

The only way you will know for certain would be to try a pregnancy test. Certainly a good idea if you have missed a period or if you haven't yet resumed periods after the removal of the implanon.

If you do try a test, and it is negative, try not to get too discouraged (not easy to do when you are hoping to be pregnant, I know) as it would not be unusual for it to take many months of trying to become pregnant.

Focus on enjoying the trying and make any lifestyle changes that you know would be healthy while you are trying so that you and your baby will have a healthy start once you do become pregnant.

    Good luck!

These are signs for many things, it can often take a healthy couple over a year to have a pregnancy, even if they are tracking ovulation.

Are you tracking ovulation and timing sex prior to it ?

The first sign you should have is a missed period, has that happened yet ?
