We replaced our foot valve and inline jet on our well/pump system. For some reason, when we hook up to the donor hose... we can get water in the house from it... but no water runs into the pump/well lines. I also cannot hear water entering the tank like I used to hear. But no water exits where we removed the pressure gauge. Where is the water going?

Remove the plug on the pump and pour water in until it is full, then wait a minute or two. The impeller cage should stay full. If it does, then replace the plug and you should be in business. If it does not, then you likely have a footvalve problem.
