I am so confused I don't know what to think. I recently missed my period on the 24th of December as expected to come & I had to take a pregnancy blood test so I went on the 27th of dec. but when I found out that it was a negative blood test which was on the 30th of dec. I was wondering how could that be. My gyno told me that it could have been from me having sex the day before which when she pointed that out I did remember doing so but then I also did have sex after my period was expect as well. So at my appointment she told me we can reschedule & wait 1 week to get the second blood test result & see whether they are still negative or positive but I am wondering if it does come out positive then I would have haved missed my period for two weeks now & I still haven't had any symptoms at least I think. I know every women is different on what they feel when they are pregnant but I do want to point out that I have recently had a baby 3 months ago. Could it be a change in my period, I ask because like 1 week after my last period I had some spotting for like two to three days. I also asked my gyno what that could have been & she said it could have just been from my period ending. I would love to get some feedback on this. Thanks : )

Periods and cycle changes, for many women one week is not even late. Most say do not even try testing unless you are two weeks late.

And even missing a entire month just happens sometimes.

I wold say wait and see, why rush with blood tests so soon ?

Thank you for your advice, I have been thinking the same thing that maybe my period might have just changed because I'm going from not having a baby to now having a baby but I'm still not 100% I haven't missed a period before & when I did it was when I found out I was pregnant so basically I am just trying to see if its just a change in my period or if maybe I could be pregnant again which I am hoping not but I also will point out that recently I think I might have been feeling some kind of bloating I guess & also like Ive been gassy latley & from what I remember those are symptoms of when your either on your period or about to get it ? Correct if I am wrong because its basically been like a whole year since I last got my period monthly & got all of the symptoms.

As a father of 5. my wives almost always had some changes in period or cycle after birth, and it took a often 6 months to get back on normal cycle.

But again that was them. All women different
