Drank 3 strong drinks while eating a huge dinner, each about 1 1/3 standard drinks so 4 drinks total. (2 2.0 ounce Johnny Walker Blacks on the rocks and 1 pint of 5% beer.) Drank/ate between 9 PM and 11 PM Saturday. I'm male, 5'6", 150 lbs, 38 years old. I lift weights 2 to 3 times week and am pretty fit (10% body fat).

Was hit with a surprise ETG Monday which I took about 6 PM, about 43 hours after my last drink. I drank enough water to dilute my urine a bit but not enough to raise any red flags. What are my chances of passing?

I already know what I did was stupid. I have a lot to lose. And if I pass this ETG, I will play it straight from now, I swear!

From reading previous threads, I realize it may be fairly close. Since the test is a 500 ng cutoff, and since I ate a huge meal while drinking, I'm hoping odds will swing in my favor.

You won't play it straight, you know you won't you'll slip up again. That is neither here nor there but please be honest with yourself.

The posted sensitivity for those is 60-80 hours. That number is of course fluid, but should be taken as a rough guide. I would honestly give you about 40-60 chance of passing. Not good, but stranger things have happened.

Update: I passed. I'm not proud of what went down but I am grateful for getting another chance and am determined to stay sober from here on out. I just spent my New Years playing cards at AA.
