    Sick for almost a week!
OK I am 15 years old. Since Thursday.. I haven't been feeling to good. I felt sick to my stomach. I get hot flashes and what not. Diarrea also. Then, you know the feeling when your stomach growls? Well I feel something in my stomach like its stomach acid or SOMETHING but I hear it gurgle- discusting- and sometimes when I walk. One night.. Friday night, I threw up so much, more then I EVER have EVER, like it was totally a lot, my mom even agreed it was un normal. Saturday and Sunday I feel sick like the same as Friday just not throwing up. And its getting really annoying and won't go away. Is it that thing where the "menstrual" cycle changes after like every 3 years? Or is it something different? Just tell me what to do because it HURTS BADLY. :(

    Thanks a bunch
    Xoxo

What has your mother said about all this? I am surprised that she has let it persist this long.

It has nothing to do with your period. It sounds as if you might have eaten something that SERIOUSLY did not agree with your system. Do you, or did you, feel sharp stabbing pain in your abdomen, and then have the diarrhea attack? If so, it sounds like you might have had a touch of food poisoning. If not, you just might have picked up a bad stomach virus.

What you should do is, if you feel worse, and are running a fever, you may want to ask your mother to take you to the emergency room. If you feel the same as you did yesterday as you do today, and there isn't a fever, ask your mother to schedule a doctor's visit tomorrow morning if you are not any better.

In the meantime, try to drink some chicken or beef broth, gatorade or something like it, or tea. You have lost a lost of fluid and you need to keep yourself hydrated. The best thing would be gatorade or something like it, if you can manage to keep it down. It replaces lost electrolytes and is good for rehydrating your system.
