Dropped yamaha ybr 125 2008. Engine problems, starting/running
I have a yamaha ybr 125. I dropped it after hitting some black ice. Now the bikes engine light comes on and flashes a fault code at me when I rev the engine about 7000rpm(approximately because I damaged the rev counter). The engine light stays on constantly while it is ticking over and once I over-rev it the light quickly flashes six times. I suspect that it's the bikes drop sensor that is protecting it self. But I don't know. I took the battery off yesterday to try and let the ecu reset, this worked for a while. I tried today to do the same, but the problem has come back. Thank you in advance for your help.
