Cracker Barrel decided to drop Duck Dynasty Merchandise ... bad move. This is what they posted on Facebook ...

Dear Cracker Barrel Customer:

When we made the decision to remove and evaluate certain Duck Dynasty items, we offended many of our loyal customers. Our intent was to avoid offending, but that's just what we've done.

You told us we made a mistake. And, you weren't shy about it. You wrote, you called and you took to social media to express your thoughts and feelings. You flat out told us we were wrong.

We listened.

Today, we are putting all our Duck Dynasty products back in our stores.

And, we apologize for offending you.

We respect all individuals [sic] right to express their beliefs. We certainly did not mean to have anyone think different [sic].

I guess you aren't familiar with how filming works. Law enforcement cooperation is kind of important, they can make life quite difficult for them otherwise.

Um, they put Duck Dynasty merchandise BACK in their stores. Some businesses get that you don't pi$$ off your customers. Others not so much, like A&E.

They will probably come to some accommodation between them. This may just be free publicity in the long run as the next season has already been filmed and scheduled. That gives everybody a about a year for the public emotional dust to settle and the two sides figure out what they do going forward.

The rest is media hype, and the initial knee jerk reaction is irrelevant.

A&E announced that the Duck Dynasty star, who was put on hiatus after he likened homosexuality to beastality and whitewashed Jim Crow, will not be taken off the show. The Robertson family, A&E noted in a statement about its decision, has denounced the “coarse language” used by its patriarch to explain his personal views in the now-infamous interview. “But Duck Dynasy is not a show about one man’s views. It resonates with a large audience because it is a show about family...a family that America has come to love,” said A&E. “As you might have seen in many episodes, they come together to reflect and pray for unity, tolerance, and forgiveness. These are three values that we at A&E Networks also feel strongly about.”

see where Jesse Jackson tried to make this a racial issue ? He says the comments reflect 'White Privilege'. He wants to 'keep the controversy alive ' and has given A&E and Cracker Barrel “72 hours” to appear before his shake-down organization Rainbow PUSH ,and GLAAD.
