    Asking a nurse
I have hypokalemia, three days I had an episode that was the worst I've had in two years. Usually I bounce back within a day and I feel fine. However, lately, my muscles are still very weak in certain areas and my body hurts a lot. I feel very drained and have been shaking a lot also. Daily activities leave me feeling exhausted and out of breath. Is this a sign of something more serious? Should I be concerned?

Hypokalemia can be very dangerous if the potassium levels get too low. You need to seek medical treatment as soon as possible.
