    When running my shower or tub I have sewer smell in my basement, what can I do about that smell?

    I did use Rid-X but still have that smell?

    I would check, or have a plumber check, your vent pipe.

    The only way you would have a sewer spell is with a broken pipe of fitting, a dry trap or a clogged vent.
