Dude, still in that alternate reality I see. Your side has no room to talk on freebies, cronyism, special favors, kickbacks to political friends, etc. And as far helping the poor it is your side that should be ashamed. Your motto is "Why give of ourselves when we can redistribute (steal) yours?"

There's been a bunch of them this week by the emperor. He's like Forest Gump. He's got an image of himself to celebrate every major event of the day .
For Mandela he published photos of him reading the news on a computer screen . The he posted an image of himself in Mandela's jail cell.

It was reminiscent of the photo published when Rosa Park passed away. The photo had him in the bus seat that Rosa Park sat in during her protest .

Saturday was Pearl Harbor Day . So of course he superimposed himself on that event too.

There is another photo where Madame Michelle Defarge sits in the seat between the emperor and the Danish PM ,Helle Thorning-Schmidt ,and gives her a shoulder check.

Gotta wonder if that is appropriate behavior by heads of state at memorial services.

You know it's bad news when you need Secret Service to protect you from your own wife.I think the emperor will be sleeping in Bo's dog house tonight.

Given the antics of various presidents I would say that is why the "secret service" was formed

39 out of 44 presidents are suspected of infidelity making the secret service the enablers

Uruguay to legalize marijuana, Senate says - CNN.com

This will be an interesting experiement. Now we get to test whether legalisation does deal with trafficing or just creates legal production for export. What next? will Columbia legalise cocaine? Will Afghanistan legalise poppy growing?

This represents a revolution in thinking. All the arguments will now be reexamined and it is to be expected that tobacco has found a new product to pollute the atmosphere with

    What's a Benghazi?

Not Kuster's Last Stand, Alas | National Review Online

The Democrats had a very good night in New Hampshire in November 2012, and swept away, among many others, my congressman. Charlie Bass was nobody’s idea of a rock-ribbed conservative, but he wasn’t an idiot. By contrast, look at Bass’s successor, Democrat Annie Kuster, when asked a question about Benghazi.

First, she has no idea what “Benghazi” is.

Then, pleading in mitigation that she’s there to talk about the Middle East, she reveals that she has no idea where Benghazi is.

Finally, when her constituents helpfully point out that Benghazi is in Libya, she turns to the side and gives that pitiful look that is the single thing I most loathe about American politics – the look a floundering empty suit gives to her minder when she needs him to come and rescue her. Which the minder immediately does.

This isn’t an especially partisan point, but I’m so weary of post-modern ventriloquist’s dummies who can’t be allowed near their constituents without the protection of a phalanx of aides. In this video, the voters are well-informed, but they have a low-information Congresswoman.

Looking at the collection of photos with the emperor ,the PMs of Great Britain and Denmark's PM .....I'd say that ONLY Michele was acting appropriately for the occasion.

The moron Judge's name is Jean Hudson Boyd. Her term expires next year . I assume she won't be running for reelection .She decided it was better that the kid rehab at one of those Kalifornia country club rehab clinics. Evidently Texas doesn't have a similar facility .

As to the first, the part of the story you omitted. The voters of Michigan apparently wanted this, but I get how that is irrelevant if they want something that goes against your wishes.

But the anti-abortion group Right to Life of Michigan was able to collect more than 300,000 voter signatures on a petition this year to force a second vote on the measure. Having been passed by both chambers, the bill automatically becomes law now, even without Snyder's approval.
Of course your side has to sensationalize the whole thing as "rape insurance" instead of being a simple matter of checking a box on your application of whether or not you want that coverage.

As to the second, he apparently had some good lawyers. Something wrong with not making the kid take responsibility for loss of life while a teen driving her drunk friend home gets punished and a six year old gets a sexual harassment rap for kissing a girl's hand.
