Help! Could my ex be the father?
So I am 24 and 4 days pregnant I had sex with my ex 31 weeks ago. Then I had got back together with my current boyfriend 29 weeks ago. We had sex several times unprotrcted. My last period was 27 weeks ago. It lasted from around may 25th to the beginning of June. (Dont remember the actual dates) which means that gives me 3 weeks after my period and then I was a weeks pregnant. COULD MY EX BE THE FATHER??

Due dates are a guess, they can be off 2 weeks either way, that's a possibility of a month total. Having said that, my guess would be that the ex isn't the father, but that's just a guess, and that guess could be wrong. The only way to know for sure is with a DNA test once the baby is born.

    Good luck.

I believe the OP (original poster) means that she is 24 WEEKS and 4 DAYS pregnant considering the timeline she posted.

She will have to wait until the baby is born to have a DNA test performed.

    I agree J.

Since sex with both was only 2 weeks apart, and she had what she felt was a period after both sexual encounters, it's really impossible to say who the father is without a DNA test.

But going by her 24 weeks and 4 days, and taking into consideration that this is a best guess, it's still more likely that the boyfriend is the father. But even then it's a month after she had sex with him, 6 weeks after the ex.

Truth told, from what the OP posted, neither one makes a lot of sense with the 24 weeks 4 days gestation.

But a DNA test is the only way to get an answer.

I could wheel it out if I knew the due date. It wouldn't be accurate, but at least it would be a best guess.

That would at least be closer than what I think we're getting, because to me (and I admit that math is not my strong suit) this just doesn't add up with the info we're getting.

I had my period and once it ended in June. My boyfriend and I continued to have sex. My ex and I never spoke again after I got back together with myboyfriend.

That makes more sense. From your post I thought you had sex with your boyfriend 29 weeks ago, and that was the last time.

If your period was an actual period, not spotting, than the boyfriend is the father. Once you're pregnant your period stops. You may have spotting that you mistake for a period, but it's not a period.

Remember that we can only guess. If the dates and numbers you posted are accurate, than it makes more sense that the boyfriend is the father, especially since the dates for the ex don't add up at all, and you had a period after having sex with the ex.

Having said that, it's only a guess. It's an educated guess, but a guess none the less. The only way to get an actual answer is with a DNA test after the baby is born.

I wish you all the best of luck. :)

If your due date is March 22, you most likely got pregnant on or around June 29 give or take two weeks. That would most likely make your boyfriend the father. With that said though, to know for certain, without a shadow of a doubt, you will need a DNA test.

So as long as my period was an actual period and NOT spotting my boyfriend is most likely to be the father? There's no chance of my ex being father. Because it was a period. I remember that much.

To ease your mind, please have a paternity test done. There is no way for us to know who the father of your child is.

Please read my post to you again. I'm guessing. That's all anyone can do, even doctors that have access to ultrasounds etc. We can only guess. Only a DNA test will tell you for sure.

I do wish you all the best. :)
