    Can I fail a EtG from drinking one beer and half a shot?
    I'm 135 pounds and I have a fast metabolism, I rarely drink at all but due to me being on probation its like the only thing I can do unless I get EtG like I did today. Okay so I drank on Wednesday at about 10pm or 11pm my first and only beer and then about an hour or 2 later I drank half of a shot of bacardi rum. I took the EtG Friday at about 12 noon. So that's about 38 hrs, will I fail the EtG?

    I think there is a high chance that you will fail. I am sorry to break such news, but that's what happens when you drink on probation.

    They're usually good for 60-80h detection, though there is some variation in those numbers.

    I actually think you will pass. Though I have no proof or science to back me up, I am going by what I have read here many times. That amount of intake and the amount of time gone by will make it close but I would guess on passing.

    You will not always get lucky...you should learn from this.

    Thank you odinn7, I've been reading a lot on here too and it seems like I might pass, I honestly don't even think it was half a shot it was like 1/4 off a shot, close to half a shot though if anything. But they say one beer doesn't show up after about 18 hrs on an EtG, but that shot is what I'm worried about, but thank you for your help. Ill be posting on here after my results come back to tell if I passed or not.

    It won't always work out...it's possible you fail...there are so many variables to this.

    Like I said...if you pass, learn from it and don't take the chance again.

    Hey guys sorry it took so long, I tried posting the results on my iPhone but it wouldn't let me post, but I did pass! Hope this helps... probably a couple more hours or a little more to drink and I wouldn't of passed.

I had one 12 oz beer on on wedsday at 10pm and unknown to me at that time I had to take a egt test on Friday. I took the test at 215pm. Will I test positive for that one...

I had one 7oz beer at 8pm on Monday. I will have an EtG alcohol urine test on Wednesday from anywhere from 11am to 1pm. Will I fail or pass? Calculations indicate that is about 38 hours.
