    Credit Card Fraud
My younger brother (28) Just told me he's been taking c.c numbers from his job and using the numbers to shop online! I obviously went CRAZY to the point where we are not speaking. He mentioned he hasent gotten caught doing it and that after the first order he places the owner of c.c usually catches on and cancels card at wich point he moves on to another card... except for one card he's been using for about over a month now wich has not been Canceled! Isn't that just weird?? Im afraid for him & I'm also afraid for the card owner because my understanding is after so many weeks there bank might not be able to do much for them as far as replacing there money or anything, Am I right? Or wrong? Just want to see what are chances of my little brother being caught at this point.

Its very high hwe will get caught... and they will pursue it very aggressively. And they will do it for years...not just weeks.

The card owner has 90 days to challenge a charge or charges.

It will be very bad for him when they do put 2+2 together and trace it to him.

If you live in the same residence as him...you will be fighting to clear your name as they will assume you have a role in it as well. Thats going to cost you money, stress and time even if as you say you had no role in this.

Your brother is a fool. So he buys stuff online? Where does he have the merchandise shipped to? Does he not think that can't be traced? Or that it won't be noticed that fraudulent transactions are made after real ones from the same merchant? He might get a way with a small amount, but the more he charges, the more aggressively they will pursue it.

And he will be caught and go to jail.
