    Possible anemia?
I am 25 weeks pregnant. I have been feeling really weak and tired, and its been accompanied by dizziness. I'm starting to think I may be developing anemia. My first visit to OB he prescribed prenatals and iron pills. My iron levels were fine, he just prescribes them to all of his patients. I never started the iron pills because my prenatals already have 29 mg elemental iron, and I didn't want to be taking too much. I have an appointment scheduled for a month from now and will have a blood test done then. My question is should I start the iron pills instead of waiting until my blood test?

He probably thought your prenatals were not delivering enough iron and prescribed more units of iron. I don't think asking strangers this question is a good idea. Wait for your blood test to ask him.
